I realize I’ve written about this movie before, but I’m doing it again because the first time was about three years ago and I just watched it (yet again) over the weekend… as I was staying up late, attempting to finish a few work assignments. ( 😐 )
Anyway, this is my very favorite movie scene ever.
This scene is just the start of the kind of relationship I’ve always wanted to have with someone — that sort of tangible sense of familiarity with each other, paired with undeniable romantic yearnings; easy, long, deep conversations; sharing and exploring the world together; feeling connected through life experiences; being inspired by beautiful works of art and nature; listening to music together….

The first time I saw Before Sunrise was in a theater with my sister… on Saturday, January 28, 1995, according to my ticket stub.
Several years ago, I contacted Kath Bloom, who wrote and performs the song above. We exchanged a couple of emails and she sent me two of her CDs (I paid for one, the second was a “bonus”) — from one Kath to another. 😉
